My Dad asked Eastmans do they just use MYOB, they refused to answer.My Dad asked Eastmans do they just take clients tax preparation files home for their daughters to do with MYOB. Eastmans refused to answer!Eastmans refused to answer my Dad how much per hour do they charge.Eastmans refused to state how many hours it took to do my Dads tax preparation. On $7,600.00 we estimated 80 to 150 hours. I am 11 and a half and did it in one hour. My Dad said this is really scary.
Been our accountants for years (Peter) robbed us blind for all those year charging almost 8,000% over the top on hours and amounts. Check your hours billed, check your hourly rate billed, Tax preparer as per the Tax department is only a junior at $50.00 per hours.
Disgusting abomination, I asked Eastmans to justify the colossal account bill, they refused and blocked me from any further communications, ever again. I had asked Eastman if I could have all my bills over the last 41 years, no problem Rachel supplied, I then asked Eastman & Co accountants if I could have a copy of all my filed tax returns, no problem Rachel Supplied. All Eastman did was tax preparation nothing else, at nearly $8,000.00 per hour something was wrong so I asked one more time for Eastman to supply the time sheet showing the hourly rate and how many hours billed to justify my colossal bill. My actual accountant Peter rang me, abused me, told me I had no right to ask them to justify their accounts. They refused to send me copies they have back to 2006 justifying their account, blocked me from any further contact with any part of Eastmans & Co whatsoever. Now I am very worry, My Daughter did my tax in 1 Hours.
